The Hound of the Baskervilles (1901)
- The Anderson murders was a case in North Carolina which was similar to the Baskerville case according to Sherlock Holmes (HOUN 3368).
The Blanched Soldier (1926)
- Anderson was a comrade of Godfrey Emsworth and Baldy Simpson in the Imperial Yeomanry during the Boer War (BLAN 403). He was killed during an ambush (BLAN 405).
The Lion's Mane (1926)
- Anderson was the Fulworth constable. A big, gingermoustached man of the slow solid Sussex breed - a breed which covers much good sense under a heavy, silent exterior (LION 99).
