- Andrews and Lawler were the two assassins of The Scowrers sent into the Vermissa valley on orders from the County Delegate, Evans Pott (VALL 3360).
- Andrews was little more than a boy, frank-faced and cheerful, with the breezy manner of one who is out for a holiday, and means to enjoy every minute of it. (VALL 3365).
