Are Mediums Sane?
The Rev. Dr. F. B. Meyer stated to a "Daily Express" representative last night that he is still awaiting the challenge which Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is reported to have promised to send him in respect of a statement that mediums are insane.
"I cannot discuss a challenge I have not yet received," said Dr. Meyer, "but I have frequently expressed doubt as to the sanity of mediums and quoted a statement by the late Dr. Forbes Winslow to the effect that seven-tenths of the cases of lunacy are attributable to spiritualistic practices."
