The draw for the Billiard Control Club amateur championship took place last night, as follows:—
Colonel Ommany, F. L. Mann, Colin Scott, Guy Chetwynd, and R. Hardy — byes G. F. Brown v. W. Hubert Fowler, Rev. R. F. du Bryans v. G. J. Williams, Sir J. H. Dimsdale v. R. H. New, R. T. Thornton v. C. H. Mortimer, H. Crosland v. G. M. Roberts, Major H. L. Fleming v. Sir A. Conan Doyle, S. H. Fry, C. J. Rivett-Crane, F. Fallon, A. Halfbard, and A. Andrew — byes.
After the conclusion of the first round the sixteen left in will play off on the Bagnail-Wilde system. The heats are 1,000 up.
