In the Sherlock Holmes stories

  • Dr. Ferrier was a local doctor in Woking (NAVA 285).
  • After Percy Phelps collapsed from brain fever at Waterloo station (upon realizing the treaty was gone), Dr. Ferrier happened to be on the same train to Woking (NAVA 287).
  • Dr. Ferrier brought Phelps home and informed the family of what had happened (NAVA 290).
