Alias of criminal William Morris. Also known as Archie. Associated to John Clay (aka Vincent Spaulding) in the burglary of the City & Suburban Bank by digging a tunnel from the Jabez Wilson's shop.
- He was the person to contact at 7 Pope's Court, Fleet Street, to apply to The Red-Headed League (REDH 65).
- He was one of the pensioners of [[The Red-Headed League (organization)|The Red-Headed League (REDH 155).
- He rented appartment No. 4 of the 7 Pope's Court to establish The Red-Headed League (REDH 236).
- The landlord of 7 Pope's Court rented office No. 4 to William Morris (his alias) and The Red-Headed League. He didn't know Morris with the name Duncan Ross (REDH 239).
- At 17 King Edward Street, no one knows nor William Morris nor Duncan Ross (REDH 246).
- John Clay called him "Archie" and yelled him to flee when he was captured by Holmes and the police (REDH 479).
