Gianluca Salvatori is an Italian sherlockian and doylean expert, member and former President of "Uno Studio in Holmes", the Italian Sherlock Holmes society.

Gianluca Salvatori (Born 1972 in Pietrasanta), is a member & former President of "Uno Studio in Holmes" (USIH), member of "The Baker Street Irregulars" (BSI) as The Dacre Hotel (2005), and hold a certificate of Holmesian Studies from the British "Franco-Midland Hardware Company". He is also member of several other foreign societies.

He co-edited the Italian version of the Granada Sherlock Holmes TV series, starring Jeremy Brett as Sherlock Holmes, and wrote the printed introductions for the DVDs of that series.

He has organized several meetings about Sherlock Holmes in Italy.

For the BSI, he has co-edited the volumes "Mandate for Murder" (a critical edition of Doyle's short story "The Adventure of the Red Circle") and "Sherlock Holmes in Italy", an anthology of the best essays ever published in Italy.

He has also co-edited several volumes of the series "Studies in Scarlet" for "Uno Studio in Holmes", and an Italian edition of "The Hound of the Baskervilles" ("La maledizione dei Baskerville") for Hobby & Work.

In 2012, he edited and wrote articles about Conan Doyle in Italy in "Sir Arthur Conan Doyle : Viaggio in Italia / Italian Journey" edited by Gianluca Salvatori, Enrico Solito & Roberto Vianello, in 2012 (Bobi Bazlen Edizion).
