From The Arthur Conan Doyle Encyclopedia

This letter was written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle from The Psychic Bookshop to an unnamed recipient (probably a director of Cassell & Co.), on 6 january 1926 [1]. Accepting the offer of photographs taken in the Psychic Museum, and discussing which photos should be added to his book The History of Spiritualism published in june 1926.

Letter

Dear Sir

I should be glad to have copies of these photos taken in the Museum — or better still the negatives — so that I could take slides for my lecture.

The other pictures would, so far as I can see, be photographs of people, but we could, if you think well, put in a typical psychic photograph in the section of the book which deals with that subject.

Yours sincerely
A Conan Doyle

I'll be in this shop all foremoon tomorrow (Thursday) if anyone cares to call.
