- Arthur / Lord Saltire was the ten-year-old only child and heir of the Duke of Holdernesse (PRIO 40).
- He was lured out the Priory School to the moor by James Wilder's ruse, carried off by Reuben Hayes to the Fighting Cock inn and kept upstairs (PRIO 773).
- Heidegger pursued them and was killed by Reuben Hayes (PRIO 424).
