A stone plaque in memory of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle was unveiled at 11, Picardy Place, Edinburgh, his birthplace, yesterday. Many organizations identified with the literary, historical, and cultural interests of Scotland shared in the ceremony. Major John Doyle, of London, a nephew of the author, represented the family.
