Milk in the Cocoanut

Old G. B. Shaw
Awoke and saw
His fame was growing dim.
He drew his foil
On Conan Doyle
And took a thrust at him.
Old Conan Doyle
Began to boil
And set his lower jaw.
His fountain pen
Grew busy then,
Besmirching G. B. Shaw.
And, as they fought
With gems of thought,
Their stock began to rise.
A wise old head
Was his who said:
"It pays to advertise."
