OSCAR SLATER APPEAL. — At the continued hearing of Oscar Slater's appeal at Edinburgh yesterday his counsel, Mr. Craigie Aitchison, K.C., said that when the Crown found anything in Slater's favour at the time he was charged with murder it was kept out. If defence had possessed resources of Crown Slater would certainly have been acquitted.
