Sir Adolph Tuck, presiding yesterday at the annual meeting of Raphael Tuck and Sons, said the company's property in Berlin had been sequestrated by the German Government.

Sir A. Conan Doyle said he was glad the British Government had not touched German property in this country.

"It will show to the world that England is a safe field, for investment," he added. "I do not think that Germany will gain any benefit from her action."
