  • Lord Robert Walsingham de Vere St Simon was the second son of the Duke of Balmoral (NOBL 47), born in 1846 (NOBL 50).
  • He inherited Plantagenet blood by direct descent, and Tudor on the distaff side (NOBL 54).
  • He was Under-Secretary for the Colonies in a late Administration (NOBL 52).
