From The Arthur Conan Doyle Encyclopedia
Sherlock Holmes vs Conan Doyle (2025)

Sherlock Holmes vs Conan Doyle is a French play, written by Ophélie Raymond and directed by Renato Ribeiro, performed at La Scène Parisienne (Paris, France) from 27 june to 29 september 2024 (and in 2025, see performances), starring Serge Réquet-Barville as Arthur Conan Doyle and François Hatt as Sherlock Holmes.

Sherlock Holmes is bored. He's stuck at 221B Baker Street, with no cases or adventures to pursue, except for the constant company of Dr. Watson. What's causing this stagnation? His creator, Arthur Conan Doyle, has grown tired of him and no longer wants to write stories about him. Worse, he wants to kill him off and rid himself of his creation. The duel between reality and imagination begins... and it will have consequences for both worlds.
