When the Court of Session resumed in Edinburgh yesterday after the Long Vacation it was found that the roll of cases contained intimation of the raising of an action by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, of Windlesham, Crowborough, Sussex, against Oscar Slater. The action has been called before Lord Mackay. No indication is given in the rolls of the character of the action. It may be some time before the case comes before the Court for hearing.
