Sir A. Conan Doyle will referee the amateur 100 up billiards handicap, which will be played at the Burroughes Hall, St. James-street, on Monday, May 17 (St. Dunstan's Billiards-Day). Sir Arthur a few years ago competed in the amateur billiards championship of England. The players in the event are:— Messrs. S. H. Fry, A. R. Wisdom, A. W. T. Good, Major H. L. Fleming, J. Graham Symes, W. B. Marshall, A. E. Graham and Dudley Fry.
