The Coming Race at Dourdan

Himself an enthusiastic motor-cyclist, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, the well known creator of Sherlock Holmes, has entered a "Roc" motor-cycle for the International motor-cycle race, which will be run off at Dourdan, in France, on June 18th. Sir Arthur has only recently become a member of the Autocycle Club. Another machine, a J.A.P., to be driven by Hodgkinson, who competed in last year's race, has been entered by Mr. Charles Jarrott. The English Eliminating trials for this event will be held in the Isle of Man on May 23rd, over a 200 mile course. The entry list remains open until April 29th.
