Thomas Jonathan "Stonewall" Jackson (21 january 1824 - 10 may 1863) was a Confederate general during the American Civil War, and one of the best-known Confederate commanders after General Robert E. Lee.
In the Sherlock Holmes stories
- At the time of the war Colonel Elias Openshaw fought in Jackson's army, and afterwards under Hood, where he rose to be a colonel (FIVE 66).
