Marco Grassi (born in 1964 in Rome). After obtaining his high school diploma in art, he graduated in Architecture.

He works as Architect official of the Public Administration, for the redevelopment of the public heritage and urban furniture.

Inexorably infected by the Sherlockian fever that afflicts the Italian Sherlock Holmes Society "Uno Studio in Holmes", he published the apocryphal novel "Sherlock Holmes and the Shadow of the Blood" in 2008.

In 2012, he wrote the article On the Trail of Conan Doyle: from Via Appia to Maywand about Conan Doyle in Italy in "Sir Arthur Conan Doyle : Viaggio in Italia / Italian Journey" edited by Gianluca Salvatori, Enrico Solito & Roberto Vianello, in 2012 (Bobi Bazlen Edizion).

He also cultivates the art of drawing, illustration and is passionate about Holmesian collecting. He was President of Uno Studio in Holmes from 2017 to 2019. His ironic cartoons illustrate the articles of the association's official magazine, Strand Magazine, where he continues to investigate behind the scenes and making of the screen adaptations.
