- Miss Tangey was the eldest daughter of Mr. Tangey, the commissionaire at the Foreign Office (NAVA 250).
- When Percy Phelps and Inspector Forbes went to the Tangeys' home in Ivy Lane, Brixton, it was her who opened the door (NAVA 250).
