Patient Question Mark is the 4th episode in season 1 of the American TV series Watson aired on 2 march 2025 on CBS, starring Morris Chestnut as Dr. Watson. 43 min.
Watson is running a "signal-to-noise" exercise using three odd cases, and the team chooses William Betancourt, whose inflamed tongue and cancer risk point to Cowden syndrome, as the real diagnostic priority. Dr. Sasha Lubbock is shaken because Betancourt's tongue lesions resemble a cadaver she dissected in med school, so Watson has the team chase down the cadaver's identity through morgue records and an artist's old sketches, which leads them to Amish country and the patient's estranged relatives so they can warn the community and push early screening. The trip turns into a second medical scare when a child in that family presents alarming symptoms that ultimately trace back to illness linked to unpasteurized camel milk, while Watson tells Mary Morstan he won't contest their divorce — and Shinwell, under Moriarty's pressure, plants a tracker and is handed a way to siphon the clinic's genetic data.
