Philip Weller

Philip Weller is a British sherlockian and doylean expert, founder of the sherlockian society "The Franco-Midland Hardware Company (1989-2004)".
Biography
Philip Weller (Born 1941 in Portsmouth) is a former Royal Air Force Squadron Leader, with degrees in Mathematics, History, Philosophy and War Studies.
He is the founder of the international Holmesian society, The Franco-Midland Hardware Company (1989-2004), and of The Arthur Conan Doyle Study Group. He is a member of dozens of other international Holmesian and Doylean associations, and he has lectured on these topics all over the world.
He has organized numerous International Holmesian Conventions, all over Europe and in Russia.
For more than a decade he has, although living in England, been an extremely active member of "Uno Studio in Holmes" (USIH), and he has written the Introduction to the Italian edition of "The Hound of the Baskervilles" ("La maledizione dei Baskerville"), and two specialist Italian monographs on Arthur Conan Doyle.
He, and his wife Jane, are very proud to be Honorary Citizens of Sesto Fiorentino in Tuscany.
