• Pietro Venucci, from Naples, was one of the greatest cut-throats in London (SIXN 329), and was connected with the Mafia (SIXN 330).

• He was the brother of Lucretia Venucci (SIXN 472).

• He was found dead on Horace Harker's doorstep (131, Pitt Street, Kensington) after the house was burgled (SIXN 153).

• He was killed in a struggle with Beppo, who was being trailed over the missing pearl (SIXN 495).
