Josef Friedrich

Josef Friedrich was a Czech illustrator and painter who illustrated The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and The Adventure of the Final Problem (Dobrodružství detektiva Sherlocka Holmesa, Ztracená stopa) in 1906 and A Study in Scarlet (Mstitel) in 1907 in Prague.
Most of the illustrations are copies of Sidney Paget ones, but some are his own creations.
In 1906 and 1907, he did 100 illustrations for Arthur Conan Doyle's fictions.
