This letter dictated by Arthur Conan Doyle to his secretary Alfred H. Wood was sent on 25 august 1908 from Windlesham, Crowborough.

This letter follows correspondence about the German murder case concerning Grete Beyer, the last woman in Saxony to be guillotined in 1908. She fed cyanide to her fiance.
