Among successful anglers at Eastbourne has been Sir A. Conan Doyle, who in two outings has taken 250 whiting, pouting, dabs, and dogfish. An 18½lb. cod has been captured at Hastings and one of 14½lb. at Deal, by Mr. Miller. — "Lincoln Echo."
