The Case of the Pennsylvania Gun is the 3rd episode of the 1954-1955 TV series Sherlock Holmes starring Ronald Howard as Sherlock Holmes and Howard Marion-Crawford as Dr. Watson. Aired on 1st november 1954 on MPTV (USA). Black & White. 25 min.

The episode is an adaptation of the Conan Doyle's novel : The Valley of Fear (1914).

Plot summary (spoiler)

Watson and Holmes go to Sussex to investigate the gruesome death of Squire John Douglas. The weapon was a Pennsylvania sawed-off shotgun. Mr. Morelle is suspected, but Holmes finds out John Douglas was not murdered and that the murderer fled by a secret passage.
