Widow Gives Out Conan Doyle Spirit Photo

St. Petersburg Times (18 august 1930)

The picture at left has been accepted by Lady Conan Doyle as an authentic spirit photograph of her husband, noted spiritualist leader and novelist, who died July 14. C. L. Tweedale, vicar of Weston, Yorkshire, sat for the photograph which was taken by William Hope, noted psychic. In giving out the spirit photograph Lady Conan Doyle requested that picture at right, taken shortly before Sir Arthur's death, be used for purposes of comparison.
