In the Sherlock Holmes stories
- Mrs. Warren was the Bloomsbury landlady who had Emilia Lucca as lodger in Great Orme Street (REDC 462).
- She became Sherlock Holmes's client after reporting the odd rules (printed slips, unseen tenant) (REDC 2), and later the assault on her husband (REDC 207).
