Castleton

From The Arthur Conan Doyle Encyclopedia
The Collapse of Conan Doyle (1934)

Castleton was a British book publishing company.

In 1934, the company published an anti-spiritualist pamphlet recounting an incident in 1929 in which Conan Doyle was proven to own a faked photograph of spirits, given in answer to a more recent 'challenge to parsons' from his 'boastful' followers, who claimed to have their own photograph of Conan Doyle's spirit in a letter dated September 1933.
