On Wednesday Northchapel were the visitors to the Rec., and were defeated by 96 runs. Haslemere made 136 for six wickets, out of which Dr. A. Conan Doyle made 78 not out, which included six 4's and seven 3's, and Dr. R. J. Hutchinson made 31 and G. Welland 30. Northchapel made 67, C. Dean (14) and J. H. Baker (10) being the chief scorers.
