John Bett (born in 1949) is a Scottish actor who played William Park in 1980 in TV episode The Trials of Oscar Slater. He also played Charles Doyle (the father of Arthur Conan Doyle) in two different TV movies : in 2000 in The Dark Beginnings of Sherlock Holmes with Robin Laing as Arthur Conan Doyle, and in 2005 in the TV movie The Strange Case of Sherlock Holmes and Arthur Conan Doyle with Douglas Henshall as Arthur Conan Doyle.
