Jules Tallandier

Jules Tallandier is a French publishing company based in Paris. Created in 1870 as Librairie Polo by François Polo and Georges Decaux. In 1875, the company is renamed "La Librairie Illustrée". In 1900, Jules and his brother Charles Tallandier bought it. In 1901 Jules Tallandier bought his brother shares and the company became "Librairie Illustrée - J. Tallandier, Éditeur" and then "Jules Tallandier, Éditeur". Today known as Editions Tallandier.
The company also published several magazines which included Arthur Conan Doyle's works:
