Misses Hammond
From The Arthur Conan Doyle Encyclopedia
The Misses Hammond were two female British painters and illustrators : Christiana Mary Demain 'Chris' Hammond (1860-1900) and her sister Gertrude Hammond. They were mentioned as the Misses Hammond when they worked for the same story. Chris also did illustrations separately in 1894 (see Sweethearts).
Between 1893, they did 11 illustrations for Arthur Conan Doyle's short story : The Case of Lady Sannox (1893).
