Sherlock Holmes Jr. is a comic strip created by Sidney Smith published weekly on Sundays, and in color, in The Chicago Tribune from 13 october 1912 to 18 january 1914 as Sherlock Holmes Jr. and renamed from 25 january to 31 may 1914 as Pussyfoot Sam, probably at the behest of Arthur Conan Doyle's lawyers.
