Tennis
From The Arthur Conan Doyle Encyclopedia
Arthur Conan Doyle played tennis several times. A journalist of the London World on 3 august 1892 wrote : « Conan Doyle is still playing lawn tennis with an amount of energy and determination worthy of any of the valiant knights whom he has depicted so glowingly in the pages of "The White Company". » (Celebrities at Home: Mr. Arthur Conan Doyle in Tennison Road, 1892)
Conan Doyle's house at Bignell Wood had a tennis court. [1]
