The Mershon Co.

The Mershon Co. was an American book publishing company created by William Mershon. It published books of several bankrupt companies such as Cassell & Co., Ltd. or The Merriam Co. in the mid to late 1890's. From 1899, it published new titles under its own imprint, until 1905 when the name was changed to the Stitt Publishing Company.
Between 1899 and 1905, the company published 6 novels and 5 short stories written by Arthur Conan Doyle.
