Blackwood's Magazine

Blackwood's Magazine was a British monthly magazine published between 1817 and 1980. It was founded by the publisher William Blackwood.
In 1890, the magazine published 1 short story written by Arthur Conan Doyle, however Conan Doyle has sent in vain several manuscripts to Blackwood's Magazine:
- Late 1870s, he sent The Haunted Grange of Goresthorpe but the magazine never published it. The manuscritpt was found in 2000 and published by the Arthur Conan Doyle Society.
- In early 1882, he sent The Actor's Duel, but was returned on 24 march 1882.
- On 10 december 1884, he sent The Fate of the Evangeline but was returned on 24 december 1884.
- In july or august 1885, he sent Uncle Jeremy's Household but was returned on 10 august 1885.
