The Westminster Gazette (3 February 1914)

The Westminster Gazette was a liberal London newspaper that ran from 31 January 1893 to 31 January 1928. According to the British Library's "Concise History of the British Newspaper in the Nineteenth Century" The Westminster Gazette was launched on 1893 and merged with The Daily News in 1928.

From 1895 to 1896, Arthur Conan Doyle traveled to Egypt. He witnessed the conflict between the British and the dervishes and became war correspondent for The Westminster Gazette. He published 8 articles between 1 april 1896 and 11 may 1896.
