Sherlock Holmes has been adapted in video games since 1984 when the first game was published on Spectrum 48K and Commodore 64... They were only textual ones, then monochrome images appeared then color ones to illustrate the texts, and the games went fully graphic until now. There is no video games adapted from non-SH stories written by Arthur Conan Doyle. Since 2010, most of the time Sherlock Holmes is just an excuse to publish cheap hidden-object video games with no plot related to the original stories, and often with no Sherlock Holmes content at all.
